KIM LEE KHO—CREATIVE APPROACHES TO PAINTING THE COSTUMED MODEL –
Stretch your
artistic muscles or access aspects of your artistic self that you may
not have tapped before. This course treats painting sessions with a
model (clothed or semi-clothed) as an opportunity for creative
explorations whether conceptual, process- or materials-based, drawing
on the instructor’s idiosyncratic research into historical and
contemporary practices. Each class has a theme or area of investigation
providing you with a direction to explore as well as a catalyst to your
own creativity.
Acrylic and Oil,

Intermediate class:
At the
intermediate level, this class will provide a safe environment for you
to try new things while working through some technical issues related
to painting and the human figure.

Kinetic Art: The Artful Pop-Up
With Helen McCusker
In this two-day workshop you'll learn a
variety of Paper Engineering techniques to apply to your own artwork to
create Kinetic Art - art that moves. We'll take existing art pieces and
transform them into three-dimensional pop-ups that can be used in
one-of-a-kind books, or stand-alone pieces. Materials list available.
